The study examined social learning environment and problem-solving skills as correlates of secondary school chemistry students’ attitudes in emerging technology in Ogidi education zone of Anambra state. Correlation research design was utilized in the study. All 2,840 senior secondary school two (SS2) Chemistry students in the zone made up the study's population. There were 1420 students in the study's sample (530 males and 890 females). Multistage sampling procedures was used to draw the sample. The study was directed by five objectives, five research questions, and five hypotheses. The Social Learning Environment Questionnaire (SLEQ), the Problem Solving Skill Inventory (PSSI), and the Student's Attitude Scale (SAS) were the three tools employed in the study. Pearson Product Moment was use to answer research question and the hypotheses were tested at .05 level of significance using the same pearson product moment. The findings revealed a favorable correlation between chemistry students' attitudes and their perceptions of social learning in emerging technology. When controlling for gender, there was only a weak correlation between attitudes, perceptions of the social learning environment, and problem-solving skills. This suggests significant interrelations among these factors in secondary school chemistry contexts in emerging technology. From the findings recommendations and conclusions were made.
